Technical Deep-Dive: Power, Voltage, and Dimensions
This unit is a 400V halogen heater, usually running around 2500W, packed into a 300mm quartz tube. Why 400V? Because it lines up with the three-phase power you find in most industrial settings. That means less current draw compared to a 230V unit, so your wiring and contactors stay simpler and easier to size. And the 300mm length? It gives you a focused heating footprint—long enough to cover the footwell, but short enough to slip into tight spots without fighting the space.
Material & Design: Halogen, Coated Quartz, and the R7s Connector
The heart of it is a halogen-filled, high-temp quartz tube. The halogen gas does a quiet, steady job of slowing down filament evaporation, so the output stays consistent over the life of the lamp.
